This role would be based at our office in Stevenston, however there will be an element of home-working as well. Due to the needs of the service, we do need applicants to be drivers. The Role As Team Manager, you will be responsible for a number of supported living services across North Ayrshire providing support to individuals with a range of needs such as Learning Disabilities, Autism, Dementia and Ongoing Mental Health issues. The services include two building-based services in Kilwinning and Irvine and the North Ayrshire community team which provides support in homes across the region in locations such as Largs, Kilbirnie, Irvine and Saltcoats. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be the Registered Manager with 4 Senior Support Workers reporting to you. As our Team Manager, you’ll have a strong focus on measurable quality outcomes for the supported individuals along with your teams and will ensure TRFS is effectively represented with external partners. Part of your role will include assisting the Area Manager to develop and implement strategic planning and management of existing services, sourcing new business, liaising with external healthcare professionals including the Care Inspectorate and Commissioners along with ensuring services meet and exceed regulatory requirements. To join our team, we’ll need you to bring; Experience in management within a care setting. An SVQ level 4 in Care / Management or relevant qualification. Experience in supporting individuals with a range of support needs. Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders. Exceptional leadership skills.
