About you… You are an experienced administrator, who is organized and is able to set up and maintain elegant and simple processes that allocate staff cover in libraries as well as interfacing with services and the public, creating bookings, recording and collating information. You are passionate about supporting the residents of Rutland. You will have the following skill set: Educated to A level or equivalent administrator experience Experienced in the day to day supervision of staff Experienced at setting up systems and processes to reduce the need for manual input Experience of tracking information and data. A team player with the ability to be self-directed. About the role: This diverse and interesting role will be based in Oakham although, you may need to work from any of our locations across Rutland. Other duties will include: To support the operations within libraries and work on a number of projects including Holiday Activities and Food Work closely with all areas of the Living Well Rutland service Manage staff rotas Provide support to senior staff Provide reports for Department of Education The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us. Please note a full driving licence is required for this role to enable travel to all Rutland County Council sites across the county.
