This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of an ambitious asset management and capital works programme, ensuring our housing stock is fit for now and the future. Westminster is unlike anywhere else. Our cityscape blends iconic landmarks with cutting-edge modern developments. From historic listed buildings and heritage properties to one of the highest numbers of high-rise developments in the country, the diversity of our built environment offers incredible opportunities to lead transformative projects in construction and infrastructure. Our recent award of a C1 Consumer Standard reflects our commitment to outstanding housing services and dedication to delivering to residents’ needs. This is your chance to shape the future of housing in the heart of London, operating in a unique operational environment to deliver meaningful change for our communities. The Role Reporting to the Director of Housing Assets, Investment and Standards, you’ll improve and develop our stock and drive forward an ambitious, forward-thinking asset strategy that reflects the complexity and diversity of Westminster’s built environment. You will be accountable for an annual capital works expenditure of up to £80m and lead a team of up to 70 staff to ensure we deliver on our promise to provide safe, sustainable, and high-quality homes. Working closely with internal teams, residents, and external partners, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality homes and improving the lives of those who live, work, and visit Westminster. About You We are looking for an inspiring leader with a proven track record in asset management and major works delivery within complex environments. You’ll bring expertise in managing large-scale housing projects, delivering service transformation, and driving cultural change and be fully focused on fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
