Main duties of the job To lead the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of high quality, safe, effective and efficient care across the medical/surgical and critical care unit. To work in partnership with the other respiratory clinical leads across site to evolve respiratory physiotherapy services to meet local, regional and national requirements and priorities. To manage the occupational therapy team working within the medical and surgical wards. To support the senior occupational therapist with operational service structure alongside clinical OT specialists. To work in partnership within the organisation, with the Senior Consultant, ward managers influencing and shaping new models of care. To foster and take innovative approaches to the development of respiratory physiotherapy service delivery amongst multiple teams To be an expert practitioner in physiotherapy provision to patients in specialist area(s) of respiratory physiotherapy practice.
