Job summaryCommunity Phlebotomists are required to take blood samples and carry out point of care testing, from housebound patients in their own homes. The post involves travelling to various sites in the community setting including GP Practices, and therefore the ability to meet the travel requirements is a pre-requisite of this role.Main duties of the jobThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Phlebotomy service across Cardiff & the Vale of Glamorgan.Based within District Nursing teams, Community Phlebotomists are required to take blood samples and carry out point of care testing, from housebound patients in their own homes. The post involves travelling to various sites in the community setting including GP Practices, and therefore the ability to meet the travel requirements is a pre-requisite of this role. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, organised and friendly people to join our District Nursing team which is based in North & West Cardiff Locality.
