As part of our initial growth phase, we are looking for a Graduate Software Engineer to be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications and systems. This role involves working closely with the software development team to design, implement, and test software solutions that meet the needs of the company and its customers. Key responsibilities will include: Assist in the development of software applications and systems Write and maintain code in various programming languages Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with team members to design and implement software solutions Conduct testing and debugging of software applications Document software development processes and procedures Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Skills and experience required: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, or Python Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices Experience with version control systems like Git Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in the field of software engineering Experience with Model Based software design tools for example SimuLink Familiarity with embedded software design practices and UML Knowledge of basic electronic design Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure Understanding of Agile software development methodologies UK Driving License and ability to travel.
