Job summary Experienced MentalHealth Social Worker, Adult Social Care, Permanent, Full Time (37 hours). Salary Range £38,626 - £42,708 This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker, with an interest and passion for working inmentalhealth, with post qualification experience, or social workers who have successfully completed the ASYE Programme to join Northumberland County Council Adults, Ageing & Wellbeing Directorate. The current opportunity is available in our new established Intensive Social Work Mental Health Team, which works alongside our AMHP and inpatient team. The Intensive Social Work team has been developed to support individuals with serious mental illness, to provide a countywide approach in providing the necessary intensive and assertive outreach support require by this client group and their families. The ethos of our model is to promote joined-up continuity of care and shared responsibility with key stakeholders to manage risk and prevent further deterioration in the mental health of working age adults with a serious mental illness, addressing the wider social determinants of mental health. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the MentalHealthAct , S117, Care Act and the Local Authorities statutory duties. Essential requirements: Degree in Social Work (or equivalent), applicants must hold a Social Work England registration and have successfully completed the ASYE programme.
