Role Overview – Quality Assurance Inspector We are seeking a highly organised and methodical Quality Assurance Inspector to uphold and enhance our high production standards. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our comprehensive QA systems, resolving quality issues, and driving a culture of quality throughout the business. Key Objectives: · Interpret and comply with company quality assurance standards and procedures · Develop improved standards for production, design, and testing · Maintain detailed QA documentation, including root cause analysis and corrective actions · Identify training needs and promote company-wide compliance Key Responsibilities: · Plan and conduct product inspections and testing to verify quality compliance · Investigate and resolve quality issues in line with internal guidelines and regulations · Record inspection data and communicate findings with relevant teams · Carry out visual inspections and precision measurements using micrometers, verniers, and vision machines · Collaborate with production teams to identify and prevent quality issues · Maintain and calibrate testing equipment · Document and report non-conformance issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions · Recommend improvements to QA procedures for greater efficiency and effectiveness · Audit suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards Essential Skills and Experience: · Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quality Inspector or similar QA role · Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies · Proficient in using micrometers, verniers, and vision measuring machines · Ability to read and interpret technical drawings · Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office · Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills What We Offer: · Annual salary of £29,120–£31,200 (DOE) · Regular wage reviews based on performance and ability · Pension scheme · Training and career development opportunities · Staff uniform provided · Free on-site parking How to Apply: Please email your CV to: [email protected] [email protected] Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £29,120.00-£31,200.00 per year Benefits: Free parking On-site parking Schedule: Monday to Friday Overtime Experience: Quality Assurance Inspector: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person.
