Job summaryApplications are invited from enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our project team as a Test Lead.Genomics is amongst the fastest growing sectors in science and health and is already delivering transformational health care across the country. Our exciting programme is making genetic testing available to mainstream clinicians and offering revolutionary new diagnostics for our patients and their families.The North East Yorkshire Genomics Lab Hub has an IT programme to transform the systems used for genomic analysis. The GLH informatics vision is to enable a single virtual laboratory that covers the whole region. Scientists will have access to the tools and data required to perform their jobs, regardless of their physical location. We are currently delivering a shared GLH Laboratory Information System (G-LIMS), and a cloud-based analysis and interpretation platform (A&I Cloud).This role will work in our diverse project teams alongside our project managers and subject matter experts from the labs, bioinformatics and IT teams across the laboratories in Newcastle, Leeds and Sheffield.
