Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen to be an integral part of the Orthoptic department. You will be working within a team of 6 Orthoptists, 1 Optician and 5 Ophthalmic Technicians.The job role is 20 hours a week based within Barnsley hospital Ophthalmology department providing administrative support.The interview date for this role will be week commencing 1st July.Main duties of the jobAs part of the role you will work closely with the vision screeners. You would be responsible for booking schools and compiling class lists for the vision screeners.You would need to be confident in making and receiving phone calls, dealing with members of the public and education services.
