Job summaryThe post holder will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary age independent 24/7 mental health Urgent Care Service. AMHAT provides assessment in the General Acute Hospital settings of George Eliot Hospital, University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire and Warwick Hospital. We serve the mental health needs of patients attending A&E and also those attending in the general hospital as inpatientsThe post is designed to deliver administrative support to the team. This will include responsibilities around key tasks relating to the efficient team functioning.The post holder will be based in the duty office, working alongside the shift co-ordinators and leads. They will be responsible for:-inputting and managing the diary for the team to include rostering items such as annual leave and sicknessArranging and organising return to work interviews and handing these to band 7 for completionManaging spreadsheets as and when requiredSupporting Band 8 and 7s in audits and data collectionsThe Post holder will be expected to use their own initiative and able to work unsupervised, working independently within guidelines.The post holder will adhere to all organisational systems and processes the post holder will contribute to service development will be required to undertake delegated responsibilities as appropriate whilst upholding the visions and values of the organisation.Main duties of the jobProvide an administrative service including word processing, drafting, and producing for example, meetings and reports where required.Manage the crisis team diary - ensuring that essential duties are covered. To inform shift co-ordinator and leads of any problems/deficits. When they are unable to resolve these themselves.Work alongside the shift co-ordinator. Assisting with staffing, diary and general duties in the duty room.Be responsible to identifying when bank staff are needed to cover.
