Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Nurse to join the Specialist Palliative Care Team within Powys Teaching Health Board based in NewtownThe role will provide a valuable learning experience regarding all aspects of specialist palliative care. The successful post holder will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the service, they will be based in Hosbis Hafren Newtown and will form part of the team providing specialist palliative care to the residents of Powys.We are a rural Health Board with 133,000 people living across an area that is a quarter of Wales. With no District General Hospital we provide as many services as possible locally through GP provision, Community Services, Community Hospitals and Clinics.The Specialist Palliative Care Team comprises of Palliative Medicine Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Community Palliative Care Nurses and Secretaries.
