Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Rota Co-ordinator to join us. You will work closely with Directorate Managers and Clinical Directors to support in safely staffing across Medicine services.Our new Northern Care Alliance NHS Group unites four local hospitals to deliver high quality care across the North East of Greater Manchester.The Alliance provides the benefits of scale but delivers this locally through multiple hospital sites which make up four new Care Organisations - Bury/Rochdale, Oldham and Salford. Using our mantra of 'Saving lives, Improving lives', the aim is for our Care Organisations to work closely with the communities they serve to deliver safe, high quality and reliable care, which are trusted, connected and pioneering.Main duties of the jobYou will be responsible for:Supporting medical job planning, rota design and workforce planningSupporting improved productivity for the directorateAdministrative induction of clinical staffCompiling and maintaining an up to date specialty induction packCo-ordinating the attendance of junior medical staff (recording of absence and documentation of return to work interviews)Maintaining a compliant and efficient medical rotas for all levels of medical staff in the designated specialtyRota managementCo-ordination of leave for all medical staff in the specialtyCo-ordination of junior doctor induction daysCo-ordinate and assist in the recruitment of junior medical staffAbout usThe Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) provides hospital and integrated health and social care services to over one million people living across Greater Manchester.
