Job summaryWe have an exciting role for a First Contact Practitioner based In several GP practices across Hinckley & Lutterworth. We are looking for an experienced accredited FCP or highly skilled and experienced MSK physiotherapist who is keen to progress into an extended scope role. You will be supporting GPs with the MSK pathway of patient care. You will have skills to assess, diagnose, manage/triage patients and you will be familiar with local services for health promotion and onward referral.Main duties of the jobThe role involves you delivering a first contact service in GP practices across a PCN in Leicestershire for MSK patients. You will have relevant skills, knowledge and experience in an MSK field. You will be able to demonstrate high level assessment and diagnostic skills with the ability to problem solve at an advanced level in short time frames. You are motivated for self-development but keen to support and teach others. You will have excellent communication and integration skills and have extensive experience working within an MDT environment but remain motivated to work independently.
