Job summaryWe are looking to recruit Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our team at the Community Rehabilitation Unit at St. Mary's Hospital on the Isle of Wight.The successful candidate would work as an integrated member of the Community Rehab Unit, providing nursing and rehabilitation care for patients in the community under the direction and supervision of the Community Rehab Unit Lead.Senior Healthcare Assistants will be provided with an opportunity to learn and develop on the job with a view to obtaining competency in some nursing and rehabilitation skills such as wound care and catheter management.The Community Rehab Unit delivers safe, high quality care and ensures a positive patient experience within and enabling environment where patients are encouraged to do as much as they can to maintain their independence.
