Job summaryWe are currently in the position to recruit a Health Care Assistant to St. Benedicts Hospice and Centre for Specialist Palliative Care located in Ryhope.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with an interest and desire to contribute to the delivery of excellent nursing care to patients with specialist palliative care needs.You will be part of the specialist palliative care team assisting the qualified staff to provide high quality care and assistance to all patients and families during their stay in the hospice. You will be expected to assist trained staff with nursing interventions and treatments, communicate with patients and carers directly protecting their dignity, choices, self-esteem and well-being at all times.
