Job summaryDSFS are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced ICT Infrastructure Support lead to join the team, due to changes within the ICT Team to support our ambitious ICT programme of worksDSFS, a subsidiary of Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, is an exciting new enterprise providing estates management, procurement, financial and ICT services to major health care organisations across the East Midlands.Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Limited currently do not offer a Certificate of Sponsorship, any applications which require sponsorship will not be consideredMain duties of the jobUnder the guidance of the ICT Infrastructure and Development Manager the post holder will lead a team of engineers providing expert support services to the network and server infrastructure deployed across the Trust and other remote sites. The post holder will resolve faults within the supported infrastructure, as they are reported and contribute to the developments in all areas. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working on MS Windows OS/ SQL, Hyper-convergent virtual server infrastructure, enterprise TC/IP - LAN /WAN network infrastructure as well having a good understanding other common desktop / mobile operating systems such as MS Win 10, IOS and Android.As well as supporting existing equipment the post holder will Install and configure new equipment within our data centre and networks hubs and other locations as required, ensuring that all technical, safety and other standards are adhered to.Upon completion of initial training the post holder will participate in a 1 in 5 on call rota.About usDerbyshire Support and Facilities Services (DSFS) is a subsidiary company that's 100% owned by Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.DSFS has just over 700 staff in Facilities, Estates, Procurement, ICT, Patient Records, Switchboard, Finance and Clinical Engineering.
