In this role you will be working alongside some of the best in the field, giving you the opportunity to learn and develop new ways of working!As an Accuracy Checking accredited Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for the providing a high quality and patient-centered Dispensary service to the wards and departments of ICHT. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Senior Team for Dispensing Services and will be responsible for the smooth running of the Dispensary. You will facilitate the timely supply of inpatient, clinic and discharge medication by co-ordinating the workflow and maintaining availability of stocked medication.Ensuring compliance with our internal, Trust and national policies - you will uphold the high standards of the Pharmacy Department in leading by example and motivating colleagues to preserve our dynamic and reactive Dispensary services.Main duties of the jobTo support the Patient services leadership team in the provision of a high quality patient focused dispensing service to patients of the Trust, associated hospitals and community clinics.To assist with the management of all technical functions of the dispensary, and provide professional leadership to all technical dispensary staff.To develop, train, motivate and encourage all staff working within the dispensary including (but not exclusively) pharmacists and technicians.About usAt Imperial College Healthcare you can achieve extraordinary things with extraordinary people, working with leading clinicians pushing boundaries in patient care.
