The chemotherapy service is expanding, and we are able to offer an exciting opportunity to join our team.We work in a bespoke cancer centre which opened in 2016, with excellent working environment facilities for pharmacists. Our service provides leading edge patient focussed clinical pharmacy including working closely with nursing and consultant teams, the prescribing of chemotherapy and independent patient assessments.No experience is necessary, you will be fully trained in this rewarding clinical speciality.We welcome applications from pharmacists who would expect to complete the clinical pharmacist post-graduate diploma in the Summer 2023.We would support a prescribing qualification for pharmacists who are interested in developing their skills into this area.Main duties of the jobThe role includes contributing to the specialist multidisciplinary team which provides inpatient, day case and outpatient chemotherapy for a wide range of oncology and haemato-oncology cancer sites.
