The successful candidate will be a key member of the Senior Team for Dispensing Services and will be responsible for the smooth running of the Dispensary. You will facilitate the timely supply of inpatient, clinic and discharge medication by co-ordinating the workflow and maintaining availability of stocked medication.Ensuring compliance with our internal, Trust and national policies - you will uphold the high standards of the Pharmacy Department in leading by example and motivating colleagues to preserve our dynamic and reactive Dispensary services.Main duties of the jobTo provide a high quality, patient focused dispensing service to the wards and departments of the Trust, associated hospitals and the primary care sector. To ensure the timely supply of inpatient, discharge and clinic medication from the inpatient dispensary.To monitor stock levels and maintain good stock management, including investigating and rectifying stock discrepancies.To ensure that all staff working in the dispensary are appropriately trained.
