Job Summary Deputy Director, Data Strategy and CDO (Chief Data Officer) Group Performance has four principal responsibilities: Maintaining and driving our CDO and Data Strategies across the Group and Agency, working alongside Agency design and delivery functions to help enable a high-performing data and digital environment for staff; transform UKHSA’s data culture. Person specification The post holder will be responsible for taking forward work across UKHSA to continuously improve our approach to surveillance, bringing Chief Medical Advisor (CMA), Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) teams together. This includes continuing to drive new surveillance capabilities and relationships, identifying opportunities for HM Government to continue to build on its experience of large-scale population studies and use of wastewater surveillance from the pandemic, and new collaborations with industry and the third sector to improve our understanding of health security threats and their impact on the population.
