Job summary We are looking to appoint an Employee Relations Officer on a permanent basis. As part of our dedicated employee relations team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting managers across the Trust with effective support and advice with a clear focus on managing sickness absence ensuring our policies are effectively and compassionately implemented. A full, current UK driving licence and access to a vehicle fit and insured for business use are required for this post. Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor employee sickness absence, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. To support managers in the provision of timely support / intervention to colleagues who commence a period of short term or long-term sickness absence management. Provide professional advice and support to managers on matters relating to, sickness absence including supporting at any associated sickness review meetings and/or support in the preparation of the associated paperwork. Support managers in their awareness of Health and Wellbeing support and liaise with support services such as occupational health services as necessary.
