As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to strengthen our engineering function by recruiting on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) an experienced CAD Technician, to be based in our Stockport office. We are seeking the following:We are looking to recruit a CAD technician to strengthen support to our renewable energy department. Ideally, your industry experience will have been gained working in a consultancy or renewable energy sector business. Educated to a minimum of HND level in a suitable subject matter. Prior use of AutoCAD for production of 2D drawings. Experience using PV Case for solar projects would be an advantage. Prior experience of working in a professional office environment e.g. consultancy, professional services, or similar office environment. Experienced in producing engineering drawings to include general arrangements, site layout and detail drawings. Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with good business acumen. Able to build and maintain work relationships across all levels of seniority within the business. Excellent skills with Microsoft Outlook, Project, Word, and Excel. Able and willing to travel for very occasional site meetings in the UK or IrelandMust be able to live and work in the UK without any visa restrictions.
