Main duties of the job Overview The Finance Apprentice will work closely with the finance team to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This role will involve learning and assisting with a range of financial tasks, including bookkeeping, reporting, invoicing, and data analysis. The successful candidate will gain exposure to key financial processes while receiving structured training and support to develop their skills and progress within the field. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the daily entry of financial transactions into the accounting system. Help maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable. Support in the reconciliation of bank statements and balance sheets. Prepare and process invoices for services rendered and ensure timely payments. Assist with purchase ledger, billing, and revenue calculations. Support Primary and Secondary Care financial administration. Perform bank reconciliations and audit support. Develop technical expertise in Sage, Datarails, Excel, and Tipalti. Contribute to month-end reporting and financial investigations. Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including preparing reports and schedules. Work on ad hoc finance-related projects as required.
