Job summaryThe postholder will provide administrative support within the under and postgraduate medical education support team; Education Centre. Duties will include administrative support required in organising and supporting study days, answering the telephone/responding to emails, photocopying/scanning, filing and supporting room bookings across Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Trust. The postholder will be supporting the organisation to demonstrate compliance with standards that are essential for both under and postgraduate medical education.It is essential the postholder possesses IT skills and is able to use a range of MS office packages and has excellent IT skills using Microsoft Office. It is also essential that the postholder has experience working as part of a team, has excellent communication and customer service skills.Main duties of the jobTo provide comprehensive administrative support to the Postgraduate & Undergraduate Medical Education Admin Teams and to assist with the provision of postgraduate and undergraduate medical education support in the organisation. The post-holder will undertake duties for the PGME Lead & Undergraduate Co-ordinator including assisting with the organisation and support of internal and external courses and study days, reception duties, copy-typing, data entry, assisting with revalidation of Consultants, assisting with allocation of Advanced Training Skills modules for regional O&G postgraduate trainees, dealing with enquiries, answering telephone calls and emails. Assist with the co-ordination of room bookings on the Bookwise Education system and assist with all housekeeping duties pertaining to all bookings when necessary.
