Due to service redesign, we have new full time permanent mental health officer / Advanced Practitioner posts available across adult social work services.
This post is a dedicated Mental Health Officer post which will offer an exciting opportunity for experienced, motivated, and ambitious practitioners to work in a dynamic environment with a forward-thinking workforce, who are determined to make a real positive difference for people accessing services and living in our communities. Trauma informed, relationships and a strengths based social work approach sits at the heart of our practice. If you wish to be considered for an advanced practitioner post you will be required to evidence the following criteria at interview. Experience of chairing meetings and a proven track record of supporting team practice development in a number of ways, such as mentoring, facilitating student placements, groups or communities of practice.

We work in partnership with health colleagues in Forth Valley NHS affording excellent opportunities for joint working.
You must hold a relevant Social Work qualification with MHO accreditation and must be registered with SSSC.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
This post is based within Woodlands Resource Centre, however you may be required to work from any other Falkirk Council premises.
You must have the ability to travel as per service demand. Falkirk Council promote a flexible and home working policy.
