Aftermarket Sales Representative - (UK & Ireland)
We are seeking a driven and experienced Aftermarket Sales Representative to join our clients team and play a pivotal role in growing the parts and service sales within the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Vehicles, you will drive the parts and service sales to the bus sector within the commercial vehicles business.
Support and maintain relationships with OEM's and bus operators to develop all potential opportunities.
Prioritise and plan regular customer sales visits to promote service and the aftermarket business.
Prepare quotations for customers as required. Develop and maintain market awareness to generate both new and aftermarket sales opportunities.
Ensure compliance with the company's risk management procedure. Ensuring that the post holder is responsive to customers, providing prompt and clear answers to queries and requests.
Assist with new business sales development as and when required by the Head of Commercial Vehicles.
Provide and maintain a monthly summary of all customer visits and planned monthly visits.
Represent the company professionally at trade shows and customer events.
Undertake any other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of demonstrably successful experience in a sales or manufacturing role, ideally within the commercial vehicle sector.
Strong technical and commercial understanding of the bus industry (or a closely related field).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and CRM proficiency.
The ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative environment.
A degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related business discipline is a plus.
Valid UK work authorisation is mandatory.

A competitive salary commensurate with experience (£55k - £70k).

This is a home-based role with occasional travel required to offices in Croydon and to customer locations throughout the UK and Ireland.
