Job summaryWe are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Psychology graduate who wishes to help shape our services in this large NHS Trust. This post has a particular focus on service development, training and staff support. We are looking for someone who is interested in building these skills, working within a wider team. The post has an outward facing role and would suit someone who is comfortable meeting with a wide spectrum of colleagues, conducting interviews, collecting and collating data, using a range of methodologies. We're looking for someone who is in able to organise their own workload, work independently (with supervision) and manage a range of different tasks.If you would like to be a part of shaping and contributing to innovation in staff support and training, are a champion of quality initiatives and have an interest in building our support for staff across health and social care, then we would be very pleased to receive an application from you.Main duties of the jobThis role involves working alongside colleagues across our both Training & Partnerships Team and our Staff Support Service. The successful candidate will work with the Associate Clinical Director of Psychological Services and other senior clinicians on projects relating to staff support, clinical supervision, reflective practice and staff training. The role will involve working on a variety of projects and may include contributions to teaching and training, outcome evaluation and audit, and service development, all within the context of staff support and development.We are currently a provider of staff support services to several NHS trusts across the area. We are seeking to develop the reach of our services, continuing to support staff across the wider system, beyond our own Trust. We are also seeking to build our offer within our Trust, thinking particularly about those things that maintain staff wellbeing, prevent accumulating work stress, enable learning from practice and ultimately support the quality of the services we provide. The role will include taking a key role in undertaking a literature review and an analysis of clinical supervision training needs, including collecting, collating and reporting on data. There will also be project work directly with our Staff Support Service, where we are building our offer to the wider system.The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a registered Practitioner Psychologist. They will work into the Staff Support Service, where they will join several friendly teams, including other Assistant Psychologists, Psychological therapists, Clinical and Counselling Psychologists.We are looking for someone who is passionate about staff support, learning, teaching and research. We see these functions as crucial to supporting the delivery of effective high quality care.
