We want you to join our team.Main duties of the jobYou will have a professional outlook and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills to deliver an exceptionally high standard of Aseptic Service.You will:be a professional role modelwork using own initiative to meet deadlines and patient needhave the ability to work accurately and methodically in busy Aseptic Services Unitsperform effectively under pressure and have an excellent eye for detailbe committed to deliver a high standard in patient focused serviceYou will prepare Neonatal, Paediatric & Adult PN, Adult & Paediatric Chemotherapy, CIVAS and Clinical Trials across MFT, working innovatively to provide services to the patients.All staff are supported to develop their potential through a structured personal development programme and to develop your aseptic skills and knowledge.The Aseptic Services Unit has a genuine good balance of professionalism, friendliness by working together to meet the needs of patients.As an Assistant Technical Officer you will be provided with the opportunity to attain a nationally recognized level 2 pharmacy qualification.You will have a primary base at the Wythenshawe Campus , however there is an expectation that you will work cross site.There will be a requirement to participate in extended hours working including late nights, weekend and bank holidays.About usMFT is England's largest NHS Trust with a turnover of £2.6bn & is on a different scale than most other NHS Trusts.
