Opportunities have arisen for a Financial Improvement Project Manager.This role will support the Finance Performance Team in monitoring and delivering aspects of the Financial Performance governance programme for the whole Trust, including supporting the Financial Recovery Board, Improving Value Group and Cost Improvement Programme.The Financial Management Team within the Trust offer a comprehensive financial management service, supporting budget holders to deliver on objectives. For instance, CCAB finance qualifications, or a programme or project management qualification such as Prince II or MSP.ExperienceEssential*Significant relevant experience working in an operational finance or project management role*Significant experience of supporting development of and monitoring progress of complex projects*Significant experience of working with project leads, senior managers and leadersDesirable*Working knowledge or an interest in NHS including understanding of key targets and the performance management framework*Experience working within the NHS or another large complex organisation*Experience of project managementAdditional CriteriaEssential*Commitment to development and training of staff*Reliable, punctual, pro-active approach.
