Job Description
MEP hire have an exciting new opportunity and as such are looking for a Business Systems Controller to join the team. As a change enthusiast and using a data driven approach you’ll actively support all business departments to deliver and implement new processes, projects and systems, driving efficiencies and improvements at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Using a positive business change focused approach submit mandates for system developments and improvements
Drive change through system and process efficiencies where and when needed
Take ownership of the MEP Development Log on Azure
Complete UAT in a timely and thorough manner, raising issues with either Group IT, Data or third party (e.g. Microlise / Zendesk)
Complete and update documentation on releases, improving awareness
Assist in training where appropriate for new releases to users
Liaise with the business to report bugs and gather feedback on processes/systems
Create and own a procedures and process library
Develop workflows within the company extranet
Own a suite of reports which are delivered on time every month to internal and external stakeholders
To actively review existing processes and use own initiatives & experiences to suggest new ideas & projects to be delivered by the Commercial Team
Work closely with other members of the Commercial Team to deliver other projects that may not be exclusive to the areas of business mentioned above when required
Create relationships with key stakeholders within MEP, Group IT, Group Data and other Divisions
What We’re Looking For
Keen interest in implementing change, creating processes, and seeing projects through to the end
Interest in data analysis and systems
Confident working independently and managing own time effectively
IT literate, confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Enthusiasm to learn new systems/software when required
Experience of using a variety of software/systems an advantage (not essential)
Ability to effectively communicate with people across all levels, remotely and in person
Possess a flexible attitude towards working hours/pattern and be prepared to travel to other sites and stay overnight where appropriate
Current and valid full driving licence
