There are 27 beds and our vibrant team requires a leader who has a passion for teaching , nurturing and embracing innovation. We are working towards an improved service for our team.Main duties of the jobo Professional leadership and clinical responsibilitiesoProvide professional leadership, advice and guidance to nursing staffo Implement innovative methods of service delivery to provide better patient care, and improve patient access.o Participate in the development of clinical policies.o Ensure the safe and effective use of all medical devices used within the Wardo Work within the multi-disciplinary teams.o Participate in projects that facilitate the development of best nursing practice to ensure quality patient care.o Participate in the provision of clinical supervision for nursing staff within the trust.o Participate in the provision of preceptorship and mentorship for new staff, and for staff undertaking academic courses and pathways.o Setting, achieving and monitoring Quality Standards.o Ensure the delivery of clinical governance and ensuring that the aims of clinical effectiveness are met from a nursing viewpoint.o Implement the agreed system of nursing audits.o Work within the guidelines and standards set by the NMC, and abide by Trust Policies and Procedures.
