Job summaryThere is an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to support our services at St Ann's Hospital.This post is 15.00 hours 7.5 hrs Saturday and Sunday 7.00am till 3.00pmThe successful candidate(s) will be responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in a clinical ward based environment and also non-clinical areas throughout the main hospital, ensuring that a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained. Full on-site training is provided and PPE provision is also included.Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.Main duties of the jobTo support the Facilities Manager in their role and to ensure that the standard of cleanliness within the Trust is implemented andmaintained.Main duties will include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, emptying bins, use of mechanical floor cleaning machines.This role involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.All the above vacancies offer an opportunity to work extra hours as able - to cover sickness and staff holidays.Good pay rates, 27 day annual leave per year to start plus BH and weekend enhancements if requiredRecommend a friend or family member and earn cash!Do you have a friend or family member you would recommend to join us?
