Job summaryAre you an enthusiastic Clinical Associate Psychologist who's passionate about working with people with complex emotional needs?Our Mendip Community Mental Health Team are looking for a Clinical Associate Psychologist to work with people with Complex Emotional Needs (CEN).You'll work alongside a well established trauma informed team, who seek to prioritise a relational approach to engagement with people accessing mental health support. You'll provide formulation driven interventions which focus on developing a sense of safety and stabilisation for the person. This would involve drawing on a range of psychological approaches.You will be working alongside a range of motivated and skilled clinicians who have been integral to developing our mental health provision to bridge the gap that has existed in services for people with complex emotional needs.As part of our exciting future development, we are establishing Structured Clinical Management, and this role will be essential in embedding this within Somerset Foundation Trust.Somerset Foundation Trust was a trailblazer site for the national Community Mental Health Framework. We have dismantled the traditional barriers to accessing help, and have expanded the mental health provision.
