Job summaryThe post holder will play an integral part in managing the Pre SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) assessment service with the provision of individualised nursing care and clinic preparations. You will liaise with other services to manage the booking of patient appointments prior to treatments and undertake pre-assessments necessary to measure the safe prescribing of SACT; i.e. measuring and recording heights and weights, blood pressures, urinalysis and ECG's.The post holder will also be proficient in venepuncture. The post holder will also be expected to access patient records and ICE results system. Be willing to work both social and unsocial hours excluding night shifts. Be able to recognise and escalate care required for a deteriorating patient. This is a full time requiring flexibility to meet service demands, 7 days a week.
