The successful candidate will work for Marie Curie REACT reviewing patients in the Emergency Department and the community.The postholder's role will involve working closely with medical and nursing colleagues within Palliative and Emergency Medicine to identify and supportpatients presenting to ED with unmet palliative care needs as well as reviewing patients in the community as part of the REACT virtual ward. The community virtual ward will involve working closely with Clinical Nurse Specialists, Specialty Doctors and Health Care Assistants.The postholder will be encouraged to take an active role in audit and service development where there will be opportunities to present this work both locally and regionally.
