This will involve being responsible for the development and implementation of service improvement and/ or policies in their area of expertise. The Clinical Matron will work closely with Clinicians, Operational teams, Matrons and Lead Nurses to provide day to day professional leadership with a significant focus on safe staffing and improving the experience and care for patients.The role requires excellent communication and influencing skills, the ability to support and initiate change, providing professional leadership to ensure clinical excellence.
