We provide clinical rotations through medicine (including cardiology, neurology, respiratory, endocrinology and gastroenterology), surgery, acute admissions, paediatrics and aseptic services.Although this post is based at Musgrove Park Hospital, as Somerset NHS Foundation Trust we provide clinical pharmacy services to two acute hospitals, specialist mental health units and community hospitals across Somerset, so there is opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of settings and to work alongside pharmacists specialising in these areas.You will be supported by our team of senior pharmacists (including independent prescribers) and by accredited medicines optimisation technicians and assistants as we expand our ward based Medicines Optimisation Teams.Your training opportunities will be further supported through the opportunity to undertake a fully funded Clinical Pharmacy Diploma (including Independent Prescribing qualification).About usOur purpose built and recently renovated pharmacy department is modern and spacious.
