Job summaryThe Pharmacy department are looking to appoint a Clinical Pharmacist to join our successful Adult Assessment Unit (AAU) team. AAU provides an exciting, varied environment to work in and allows you to utilise your clinical and interpersonal skills.You will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) alongside consultants, junior doctors, nurses and AHPs, optimising medicines and having a positive impact on the patient experience. In addition to providing a comprehensive pharmacy clinical service, there will be opportunities to participate in MDT meetings, service improvement projects and training of pharmacy staff and other AHPs.Candidates must be well-rounded pharmacists with excellent team-working and communication skills to provide a patient-facing, high-quality 7-day clinical pharmacy service. Working patterns will involve 12 hr shifts (8am to 8pm or 10am-10pm) over a 7-day week, including bank holidays.
