Job Description
Following allocation of some additional targeted funding the Adult Social Care Commissioning Team are looking to appoint one, or possibly two Commissioners. The Commissioners will work across projects which support development of new services for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health, both directly and indirectly.

What will you be doing?
Working across a number of strategic priorities and commissioning programmes linked to services for learning disabilities, autism and mental health, the roles include independent management of elements of the commissioning process in order to help deliver innovative approaches and solutions which will positively impact outcomes for service users.
About you
The right candidates will have:
A proven ability to identify and lead the development and implementation of transformation strategies to deliver the strategic priorities of the department
Experience of successfully managing and delivering a range of projects simultaneously
Project management skills.
Report writing skills with a proven ability to develop a business case and write for a variety of audiences. This will include writing and presenting.
Excellent networking skills and ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver complex change programmes
Understanding of the pressures and opportunities facing local authorities and the adult social care market in Cambridgeshire.
Good communication skills and ability to present information in a variety of mediums.
Ability to collect, interpret and clearly present data.
