We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Pharmacist to lead our well respected acute medicine pharmacy team that provides high quality pharmaceutical care to our patients.You will work closely with other clinical leads in the pharmacy and with divisional senior medical, nursing and management staff to ensure all pharmaceutical aspects within acute medicine business units are met.Main duties of the jobTo lead, deliver, develop and evaluate pharmacy services to acute medicine services across all sites within UHDB in accordance with national priorities and local objectives.To ensure that medicines are used safely and effectively in acute medicine business units (BAMBU & DAMBU).To lead the clinical pharmacy team in acute medicine, acting as a role model and developing the team in line with the needs of the serviceFacilitate the cost effective use of medicines by providing regular reports to the Divisional/business unit management and consultant team.Deputise for the Deputy Chief Pharmacist - Clinical as requiredMaintain and develop policies and procedures covering all aspects of the pharmacy service to the Division.
