Job summaryThe Eating Disorders Service at The Brownhill Centre, Cheltenham is seeking to recruit an Assistant Eating Disorders Clinician. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a developing service within Gloucestershire Health and Care NHSFT.This is a newly commissioned post as part of the wider transformation of the service and has been established to support the ongoing development of the Eating Disorders Model .The Eating Disorders service is highly regarded and provides specialist assessment, treatment and support for individuals who are experiencing an eating disorder and their families within Gloucestershire. There is a strong focus on specialist therapies in the service and excellent clinical leadership and supervision within the team.As part of a merged community Trust, the service aspires to achieve more personalised and holistic care and, as part of this, a greater integration of mental and physical healthcare. The community team provides specialist evidence-based treatments on an individual and family basis for children, adolescents and adults with an eating disorder. The team provides advice, consultation and support to primary care, social care, voluntary and educational staff as well as members of the public.
