Effluent Plant Operator To run and maintain the efficient operation of our effluent treatment plant to ensure it complies with all regulatory sampling taken by Yorkshire water. Responsibilities • To maintain site health and safety rules • Efficient use of chemicals through the optimized operation of the effluent plant • To assist the engineering department by replacing wear parts in the effluent plant • Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of the effluent plant and associated areas • Carry out un-supervised maintenance and cleaning of process equipment (low/medium skill) • Correct operation of the Effluent plant to ensure compliance with regulations. • Overseeing of chemical deliveries • Filling out paperwork as required • Recording of daily/weekly readings around site Key skills • Good communicator • Team player • Basic IT skills • Problem solver • Basic mechanical abilities • Good numeracy and literacy skills Shift work - 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating shifts
