Kington St Michael CE Primary School is a small village school located just outside Chippenham. We are a popular school in an attractive rural setting, where expectations are high and standards consistently good. KSM is “an Outstanding school” (Ofsted, November 2014) and achieved a J1 in our recent SIAMS inspection (SIAMS, January 2024).
All about the role:
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced full time EYFS teacher to join our wonderful school. We are looking to appoint a teacher that is eager to progress in their career, take on additional school responsibilities and potentially join our senior leadership team, subject to experience and discussion.
The successful candidate will:
be a creative, enthusiastic, inspiring and dedicated teacher who is able to work effectively teaching a pure EYFS class.
have experience and understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
be someone with high expectations and a commitment to securing outstanding progress for all learners across all curricululm areas
be someone who shares our Christian ethos and passion for children’s learning and can identify with the vision and values of our school
be keen to make a significant contribution to the wider life of the school including involvement in extra-curricular activities
recognises that each day matters to every child
be a team player, keen to get involved and have a good sense of humour!
