You will provide frontline care and management of patients presenting with minor injuries and ailments, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.Our Minor Injuries Units are located across the County of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and are waiting to welcome you into the team.We can offer a range of shifts covering days, nights, and weekends.Main duties of the job- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with minor injuries and illnesses such as treatment for cuts and grazes, sprains and strains, broken bones (fractures), bites and stings, infected wounds, eye problems such as infections or scratches, sports injuries, minor burns and scalds.- Perform minor surgical procedures.- Educate patients and families about injury prevention and post-treatment care.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.- Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions.About usWe're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
