Within the Catering Services department, exciting opportunities have arisen for reliable hard-working individuals who wish to develop food production and customer service skills. As well as hands on food production, the successful applicant will undertake a range of duties, including setting up food service counters and cabinets, dishwashing, laying and clearing tables, serving meals at the counter, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in food service and dining areas. Good people skills are essential as is the ability to engage proactively with customers and to have a positive can-do attitude. The Role Holder (RH) must ensure compliance with all aspects of health and safety and food hygiene standards and adherence to the relevant legislation, as well as the universities codes of practice.
