Gas Centre Trainer
Up to £39,876 per annum (plus market forces supplement of up to £4,383 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience)
35 hours per week, 52 weeks a year
Are you keen to share your skills, knowledge and experience? This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a Gas Centre Trainer to undertake the training and assessment of courses within our Gas Assessment Centre.
You will have a passion for engaging and motivating people, demonstrating creativity and innovation alongside delivering best teaching practice to ensure students receive an exceptional experience.
With knowledge of current industry standards, trends and technology and experience of teaching, learning and assessment, you should have a good understanding of performance targets in relation to education and the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
You should have a good standard of education including Maths and English at level 2 (GCSE 4/C) and a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and up to date Gas qualifications. You should also have an Assessor Award and a teaching qualification, or a commitment to achieving one within a specified period.
Suffolk New College can provide relevant teacher training to those individuals who can demonstrate the potential to become effective teachers.
This post is mainly based at our Ipswich campus, with some teaching at the Suffolk Rural campus, Suffolk New College is a multi-campus therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
