Job summaryWe are a friendly, supportive and well organised practice, committed to providing a high level of effective care to our 10,000 patients.Due to an increasing list size and the retirement of one of our long serving Partners, The Green House Surgery is looking to recruit a GP. Our existing clinical team is dynamic, with a diverse skill set (including four GP Partners, Salaried GP, Paramedic Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, First Contact Physio, Child & Adult Mental Health Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Pharmacy Technician, Healthcare Assistants and Phlebotomists).We are a Teaching Practice based in new purpose-built premises within Redcar Primary Care Hospital and have access to Physiotherapy, Radiology, Endoscopy, Audiology, Minor injuries, MRI, CT and X-Ray facilities on-site. The post-holder, as part of the practice team, will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone, video, and e-consultations, visiting patients at home, authorising repeat prescription and dealing with queries, paperwork, and correspondence in a timely fashion.The post-holder will be supported in continuous professional development through attendance at necessary/appropriate courses and/or study days in addition to training programmes implemented by the practice.The number of hours and working days are open to negotiation with the successful candidateAbout usThe Green House Surgery currently has a registered patient list of approximately 10,000 patients residing in Redcar and surrounding areas.We work from modern, purpose-built premises and benefit from ease of with access to hospital-based diagnostics and other services.
