Job summaryYou must be a person who is capable of leading, inspiring and developing the patient flow and complex discharge workforces to continuously drive standards of patient flow and discharge, ensuring there is a patient centred approach that is safe and effective.You will provide strategic leadership, vision and direction for Patient Flow. In addition, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the strategy for flow and escalation within the Trust.You will provide both day to day operational leadership of hospital flow and lead on the implementation of national policy for all issues related to patient flow, ensuring that policies and procedures are developed to deliver effective bed management processes and discharge across the hospital.Working collaboratively with the Divisional teams, you will provide assurance that robust systems for site and patient flow are in place and that quality patient led services are delivered consistently.Main duties of the jobFor more detail about the main duties of this role, please see the job description section below.
