Our Wharfedale Recovery Hub provides assessment and rehabilitation for patients' ongoing needs following a hospital stay to enable them to regain independence to return home at the earliest opportunity. As a healthcare support worker you will work alongside a team of professionals to help patients achieve their recovery goals. The hub is a 24/7 service and various day and night shifts need covering. A induction period will be provided along with relevant training and support to develop.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be providing direct and indirect patient care independently. In doing so, they will support the assessment of patients and implementation of programmes of care delegated to them by the appropriate staff member ensuring that they practice within their sphere of competence and knowledge.
